Come what may :)
Never knew I could feel like this
Like I've never seen the sky before
Want to vanish inside your kiss
Everyday I love you more and more
Listen to my heart, can you hear it sings
Telling me to give you everything
Seasons may change winter to spring
But I love you until the end of time
Come what may, come what may
I will love you until my dying day
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
It all revolves around you
And there's no mountain too high no river too wide
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side
Storm clouds may gather and stars may collide
But I love you until the end of time
Come what may, come what may
I will love you until my dying day
Oh come what may, come what may
I will love you
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place...
Come what may, come what may
I will love you until my dying day

What am I to you
What am I to you
Tell me darling true
To me you are the sea
Vast as you can be
And deep the shade of blue
When you're feeling low
To whom else do you go
See I cry if you hurt
I'd give you my last shirt
Because I love you so
If my sky should fall
Would you even call
Opened up my heart
I never want to part
I'm giving you the ball
When I look in your eyes
I can feel the butterflies
I love you when you're blue
Tell me darlin true
What am I to you
Yah well if my sky should fall
Would you even call
Opened up my heart
Never want to part
I'm giving you the ball
When I look in your eyes
I can feel the butterflies
Could you find a love in me
Could you carve me in a tree
Don't fill my heart with lies
I will you love when you're blue
Tell me darlin true
What am I to you
What am I to you
What am I to you

The meaning of Christmas!!!
Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual holiday that marks the traditional birthdate of Jesus of Nazareth. Christmas combines the celebration of Jesus' birth with various other traditions and customs, many of which were influenced by ancient winter festivals such as Yule[1] and Saturnalia. Christmas traditions include the display of Nativity scenes and Christmas trees, the exchange of gifts and cards, and the arrival of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Popular Christmas themes include the promotion of goodwill, giving, compassion, and quality family time.
Christmas Day falls on December 25. It is preceded by Christmas Eve on December 24, and in some countries is followed by Boxing Day on December 26. Some Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate Christmas on January 7, which corresponds to December 25 on the Julian calendar. December 25 as a birthdate for Jesus is merely traditional, and is not thought to be his actual date of birth.[2]
Christmas is celebrated in most countries around the world, owing to the spread of Christianity and Western culture, along with the enduring popularity of wintertime celebrations.Monday, December 18, 2006

All I need
Download now Mat Kearney lyrics and videoclips on Lyricspy
I meant what I said when I said until my dying day
I’m holding on to you, holding onto me
Maybe it’s all gone black but you’re all I see
You’re all I see
I’m holding on to you, holding on to me
Maybe it’s all we got but it’s all I need
You’re all I need
And if all we’ve got is what no one can break
I know I love you
If that’s all we can take

pa ti hombeeeee
"In A Little While"
In a little while
Surely you'll be mine
In a little while I'll be there
In a little while
This hurt will hurt no more
I'll be home, love
When the night takes a deep breath
And the daylight has no end
If I crawl, if I come crawling home
Will you be there
In a little while
I won't be blown by every breeze
Friday night running
To Sunday on my knees
That girl, that girl
She's mine
And I've known her since
Since she was a little girl
With Spanish eyes
Oh, when I saw her
In a pram they pushed her by
My, how you've grown
Well it's been
It's been a little while
Slow down my bleeding heart
A man dreams one day to fly
A man takes a rocketship into the skies
He lives on star that's dying in the night
And follows in the trail
The scatter of light
Turn it on
Turn it on
You turn me on
Slow down my bleeding heart
Slowly, slowly love
Slow down my bleeding heart
Slowly, slowly love
Slow down my beating heart
Slowly, slowly love

Light a candle
In honor of World AIDS Day on December 1st, Bristol-Myers Squibb is donating a dollar to AIDS research every time someone goes to their website and moves the match to the candle and lights it.

It only takes a second
12 steps for a greener holiday season
2: Pull the plug on dirty presents. Electronics are popular gifts so rather than just consider the cost, check out which companies are doing more than others to make cleaner products. This year's presents shouldn't be next year's toxic waste. (Ok, we know. Sometimes we can't resist that new iPod or MacBook either, despite the fact that Apple is bottom of the barrel when it comes to toxic content and recycling policies. If you really can't wait until Apple cleans up its act to buy one, make sure you do something for the Green my Apple campaign to tell Steve Jobs that we love Apple products, but we want them to come in green. Make sure your gift recipient gets the message too!)
3: Pay for the present, not the packaging. Put some thought into the gifts you are purchasing. Avoid products that are over-packaged or made from toxic PVC plastic or from endangered trees like mahogany.
4: Travel smart. When it's time to go shopping for the perfect gift or visit relatives, try to take public transportation or carpool for trips. Every time you hop in your car or even worse a plane, you're producing greenhouse gases which contribute to global warming. Even better? Shop online. You can get your loved ones gift memberships to environmental organizations, like Greenpeace.
5: Cut down on paper. Why not have fun making your own wrapping paper out of recycled paper? With a potato stamp and some water paint you can make unique wrapping paper. Cut up last years cards to make perfect recycled gift tags. Make sure your waste wrapping paper goes in the recycling. If you send holiday cards, look for a recycled content or better yet, send an e-card.
6: Be tree friendly. If a tree is traditionally part of your celebrations, a living, potted one is your best option because it can be reused next year. If you must use a cut tree, ask your local officials about tree recycling or if you can chip the tree to use as mulch in your garden.
7: Less is more. If you decorate your home with lights, think about how much energy they use. Don't forget to turn off the lights before you go to bed or go out, and use LED bulbs to save energy.
8: Go au natural. Replace those plastic, over-priced holiday decorations, with natural reuseable decorations like whitewashed branches and pine cones. They can put you in the holiday spirit just as easily as a huge, inflatable snowman can.
9:Cut down on your shopping. As a general rule the more you buy and consume the more of the planet's limited resources you are using up. Try to buy local produce to cut the travel miles your holiday essentials have clocked up.
10: Break out the china. When it comes time to party down, do so with real dishes - not disposables. Ask your friends to borrow some of their plates and glasses or rent them. Cleanup will be a little tougher, but it's worth it. If you must use disposable, look for recycled content.
11: Hang lots of mistletoe. This won't really help the environment. But more kissing has got to be good for world peace ;-)
12: Get started on those New Year's resolutions! If you've followed these 12 tips for the holiday season why not be good to the climate for the whole of 2007 by following our 12 tips for individual action on global warming?

Because an image is worth more than a 1000 words
Living in the tropics..
I'm stuck home cause there is a storm outside. A tropical storm in the middle of November in Portugal. You might think now, what's so special about that??
Well, first of all we don't have tropical storms in this part of Europe. We might have during the summer some little storms or depressions due to the hurricane's in the Atlantic Ocean.
But since the winter began this year, there has been storm after storm. Sometimes with winds of more than 150 kms, other times with rays and thunders, and other times the rain pours so heavily that it looks like milk falling from the sky.
Today half of Portugal is flooded, damaged and in alert...ohh and i forgot to mention that we are not used to things flying around, like parts of roofs, or fallen trees, etc.
Right now I feel like I'm in a tropical island or something..just with a little difference, here is much colder, lolol.

Even if sometimes I have too many things to do, I still have time to stop and take a look at the world and remind myself the reasons why I study so hard...I do it for them...to help.Cause I know that if take all the oportunities I have and use them, I can give oportunities to others.
So even if you don't have time, stop and watch this..There are more people in the world than you..don't ever forget that!!

The USA's elections
I'm not a very political person. I must confess I don't really understand much about politics, not because I don't want too, but because it's a very unique world within our world. But every now and then, I find myself thinking were did some ideas come from, or why certain parties defend a specific idea, etc.
Sometimes I have that urge of informing myself about what is happening in the political arena around the world, so that I can build up my own opinion about the state of the world.
And yesterday, after all the newspapers and news channels were talking over and over again about the USA's elections, a question poped into my mind: How did the animal icons of the Republicans and Democrats originate?
If you think about it they are kind of strange. A dunky and an elephant...nothing to do with the United States, right?? So I started to look arround the internet and found the answer. For all of you who are interested in enlarging their knowledge about the world, go to this site and you will find the answer: http://ask.yahoo.com/20000810.html

What are the odds..
what are the odds of finding 5 coins in different places in the same day?? Maybe you don't believe in magic, but i do..specially on halloween, hehehe.
A little bit of history
Halloween is a tradition celebrated on the night of October 31, most notably by children dressing in costumes and going door-to-door collecting sweets, fruit, and other treats. It is celebrated in parts of the Western world, most commonly in the United States, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and with increasing popularity in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Philippines. In recent years, Halloween is also celebrated in parts of Western Europe, such as Belgium and France. Halloween originated as a Pagan festival among the Celts of Ireland and Great Britain with Irish, Scots, Welsh and other immigrants transporting versions of the tradition to North America in the 19th century. Most other Western countries have embraced Halloween as a part of American pop culture in the late 20th century.
The term Halloween, and its older spelling Hallowe'en, is shortened from All-hallow-even, as it is the evening before "All Hallows' Day"[1] (also known as "All Saints' Day"). The holiday was a day of religious festivities in various northern European Pagan traditions, until Popes Gregory III and Gregory IV moved the old Christian feast of All Saints Day from May 13 to November 1. In Ireland, the name was All Hallows' Eve (often shortened to Hallow Eve), and though seldom used today, it is still a well-accepted label. The festival is also known as Samhain or Oíche Shamhna to the Irish, Calan Gaeaf to the Welsh, Allantide to the Cornish and Hop-tu-Naa to the Manx. Halloween is also called Pooky Night in some parts of Ireland, presumably named after the púca, a mischievous spirit.
Many European cultural traditions hold that Halloween is one of the liminal times of the year when spirits can make contact with the physical world and when magic is most potent (e.g. Catalan mythology about witches, Irish tales of the Sídhe).

Quote of the day
No matter how careful you are, there's going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn't experience at all. There's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention, Well, get used to that feeling. That's how your whole life will feel some day

No wonder our perception of beauty is distorted

Secondary effects of the university
Here are some examples:
- uncontrollable laughter
- crazy ideas (i mean really crazy ideas)
- extremely important philosophical theories or rather dumb conclusions
- moments of complete happiness or total depression
- emergence of wield side of the student
- lack of hunger or constant need to eat (it depends on the personality and the level of stress)
- sudden need to scream
- moments of madness were you imagine yourself hiting a teacher or a member of your work group
- images of computers flying outside the window
- etc.
(if you have experience different side effects than the above, please share your experience with us. Is important to warn the future generations about the side effects of the so called great institution that is the university).
Best regards,
A traumatized student

Quote of the day

Really??
Taken from a World Mun travel guide made by harvard students....now i don't feel so bad about my ignorance, lolololololol
Esos momentos

Coexistence
On the dogmas of religion, as distinguished from moral principles, all mankind, from the beginning of the world to this day, have been quarreling, fighting, burning and torturing one another, for abstractions unintelligible to themselves and to all others, and absolutely beyond the comprehension of the human mind.
Thomas Jefferson
